The Neighborhood
About Oakbridge, Ponte Vedra Beach
Oakbridge is a gated single-family neighborhood inside the Sawgrass Players Club — 353 homes per the community’s own association, among the original sections built as the Players Club took shape from the late 1970s into the 1980s, with no CDD. Many homes back the golf course now played as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club (historically the Oakbridge course), a name history that still confuses listings; buying here means the Players Club’s master-plus-sub-association structure.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions about Oakbridge
What are the HOA fees in Oakbridge, and what do they cover?
HOA fees in Oakbridge run around $800 semi-annually — so roughly $1,600 per year. The community amenities include a pool, which is among the features the association maintains. Buyers should request the full HOA documents during due diligence to confirm exactly what the fee covers and whether any special assessments are pending.
How close is Oakbridge to the beach and to TPC Sawgrass?
Oakbridge is about two miles from Ponte Vedra Beach and roughly three miles from Mickler's Landing Beach — an easy bike ride or short drive on a weekend morning. TPC Sawgrass, home of THE PLAYERS Championship, is about a mile and a half away, and The Yards golf course is practically in the backyard at under a quarter mile.
What hospitals or medical facilities are near Oakbridge?
Baptist Medical Center Beaches is about four miles away, and Mayo Clinic's main campus is roughly five miles from the neighborhood. There is also a Mayo Clinic Mangurian Building location about five miles out for specialty care. For a community of its size, Oakbridge is unusually well-positioned relative to major medical resources.
How much is my home in Oakbridge worth?
Start with the record, not a formula. An algorithm cannot see a renovated kitchen, a preserve lot or a roof from 2024, and in a neighborhood the size of Oakbridge those are the things that move a price. This page lists every new Oakbridge listing and recorded sale as it happens; follow it and the comps come to you. When you are ready for a number, I run the valuation personally against Oakbridge's actual closings.
How long does it take to sell a home in Oakbridge?
Watch the days-on-market figure on this page rather than a headline. Oakbridge's pace runs with its inventory: few homes for sale and a correct price sell quickly, while a crowded month or an optimistic price stretches it. Before we list I read the recent Oakbridge closings against their asking prices and the competition at launch, and the timeline follows from that.
What does it cost to sell a home in Oakbridge?
The list is short; the net is what matters. In Oakbridge, plan on the commission you and I agree on, Florida's documentary stamp tax on the deed (70 cents per $100 of price), title and closing charges that follow local custom, and an association estoppel letter where there is an association. I run the net sheet against Oakbridge's actual cost structure before you commit to a number, so the proceeds figure is real.
