Living Here
What It's Like to Live in Ocean Links
Day-to-day life in Ocean Links is remarkably convenient for Ponte Vedra Beach. A Winn-Dixie is practically at the doorstep — about a tenth of a mile away — and the Publix at Sawgrass Village is a short drive of roughly a mile and a half, putting most grocery runs well under ten minutes. Bird Island Park is just around the corner, about a third of a mile out, for a quick walk or a morning along the water, and South Beach Park and Sunshine Playground is reachable in under three miles. Dining options close by include The Boathouse Ponte Vedra about a mile away, Palm Valley Fish Camp and Nona Blue Modern Tavern both within about a mile and a half, and Foxtail Coffee Co. at Sawgrass Village for a morning stop. TPC Sawgrass — home of THE PLAYERS Championship — is about two miles away, and the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall rounds out the cultural offerings nearby.
The Homes
Ocean Links Homes & Architecture
Ocean Links is an all-condominium community, with homes built in 1992 in a traditional architectural style. Units typically run from about 1,100 to 1,400 square feet with 2 to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms — a practical layout for the square footage. Vaulted ceilings, open floorplans, and split-bedroom arrangements are common interior features, and many units include a balcony or screened lanai, a breakfast bar, walk-in closets, and ceiling fans throughout. Prices generally range from the mid-$200s into the low-$300s, which represents one of the more accessible entry points in Ponte Vedra Beach. HOA fees run about $604 per month — buyers should factor that into their full monthly cost picture, as it's a meaningful number alongside a mortgage payment.
Amenities
Ocean Links Amenities & Community Features
Ocean Links offers a solid lineup of shared amenities for a community of its size: a pool, clubhouse, fitness center, tennis courts, basketball court, and a playground. There's also a car wash area and RV/boat storage on-site, which is a practical perk given how close the community sits to both the beach and the Intracoastal. Sidewalks, street lights, and curbs give the community a walkable, well-kept feel, and residents can fish on the property as well.
Location
Ocean Links Location & Commute
Ocean Links sits in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, positioned so that Ponte Vedra Beach proper is roughly a mile and a half away and Mickler's Landing Beach is about three and a half miles out. Jacksonville Beach is reachable in roughly ten minutes — about four and a half miles — and Neptune Beach is around six miles. TPC Sawgrass and PGA Tour Headquarters are both within about two miles, and Sawgrass Village shopping is less than two miles away. For medical needs, Baptist Medical Center Beaches is about three and a half miles out and the Mayo Clinic campus is within about four miles. Jacksonville International Airport is roughly 26 miles north, which typically translates to about 40 to 45 minutes depending on traffic.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions about Ocean Links
What are the HOA fees in Ocean Links, and what do they cover?
HOA fees in Ocean Links run about $604 per month. The community amenities included are substantial for the price point: a pool, clubhouse, fitness center, tennis courts, basketball court, playground, car wash area, RV/boat storage, and fishing access. Buyers should review the HOA documents carefully to confirm exactly which services and maintenance items are covered, as monthly costs at this level can vary in what's included versus assessed separately.
How close is Ocean Links to the beach?
Ponte Vedra Beach is about a mile and a half from Ocean Links, making it a short drive — roughly five minutes in typical conditions. Mickler's Landing Beach is about three and a half miles out, and Jacksonville Beach is roughly four and a half miles away. It's one of the location advantages I point out to buyers looking at this community: genuine beach proximity at a price point well below most oceanside Ponte Vedra neighborhoods.
Are there CDD fees in Ocean Links?
The fact sheet for Ocean Links does not reflect a CDD (Community Development District) assessment — which is worth noting, since many communities in this part of St. Johns County do carry one. That said, buyers should always verify the absence of a CDD fee directly with the seller or their title company as part of due diligence, since these assessments can appear on the property tax bill separately from what's disclosed in MLS data.
How much is my home in Ocean Links worth?
Worth what the next Ocean Links buyer will pay, which the last few Ocean Links closings predict better than any website estimate. This site publishes no automated value on purpose; the listings and recorded sales on this page are the raw material instead, updated as the MLS updates. When you want it turned into a number for your home, I do that personally against the actual sales.
How long does it take to sell a home in Ocean Links?
It depends on the market you list into, not the one you read about. The snapshot on this page tracks Ocean Links's pace from live MLS activity rather than a static average, and it shifts: a tight-inventory spring and a heavy-inventory fall give different answers. Before setting a price or a timeline, I read Ocean Links's current pace, how recent sales closed against their list prices, and what your home's competition looks like the week we launch.
What does it cost to sell a home in Ocean Links?
Condo sales carry a few lines single-family sales don’t, and knowing them up front is how you protect your net. In Ocean Links, plan on: the commission you and Krista agree on, Florida’s documentary stamp tax on the deed, title and closing charges per local custom, the association’s estoppel letter, and — because this is a condominium — the buyer’s side will ask for the association’s current budget, reserve information, and any inspection reports, so having those ready is part of selling well here. A well-documented association is a selling point; Krista assembles that package with you before the listing goes live.
