the CR-210 / Durbin corridor development

What’s coming to the 210 corridor, verified.

The fastest-growing stretch of St. Johns County generates more development rumors than anywhere I work. Here is what’s actually permitted, actually under construction, and actually open — with dates.

CR-210 widening is complete

The county celebrated completion of the roughly $15M widening on April 30, 2026 — six lanes from I-95 to the Trinity Way/Beachwalk Blvd stretch, with a new signal at Badger Park Dr — and the final lanes opened before the school year.

The rumor check

Things buyers repeat that the record doesn’t support. Knowing what’s NOT true is worth as much as the rest of this page.

“A Harris Teeter is coming to CR-210” — unconfirmed

A 50–61,000 sq ft grocery-anchored center at CR-210 & Veterans Pkwy is in county pre-application review, and its footprint matches a Harris Teeter — but the operator is unannounced, Harris Teeter declined comment, and Kroger was reported in July 2026 to have scrapped further Florida expansion. The honest phrasing: a grocery-anchored center is in review; nobody has said whose.

The part nobody tells you

The CR-210 widening is DONE — six lanes from I-95 past Beachwalk Blvd, celebrated by the county in April 2026. Buyers who crossed this corridor off their list because of the construction years should look again; the commute math changed this spring, and prices haven’t fully caught up to it.

This is the work I do every week. I drive this corridor weekly. Ask me which side of which intersection actually benefits from what’s being built.
