James Island

James Island is a gated community on the Southside of Jacksonville less then a mile from JTB and 9A. This neighborhood includes a community pool and clubhouse. Home sites in James Island average about 70 feet with homes that range from 2100+ square feet up to 3500+ feet. This neighborhood has completed new construction and there are lots of wonderful resales that are coming on to the market.

This is another development planned by the St. Joe Company who also planned Jacksonville Golf and Country Club and St. Johns Golf and Country Club. This neighborhood features primarily wood frame houses with stucco finishes.
