This terrific rail trail extends from Jacksonville, all the way to Baldwin. There are three separate paths, which include:
· A multi-use asphalt trail for hiking, cycling, inline skating
· An off-road bike trail
· A horseback riding trail
The trail passes through a number of unique settings – everything from wetlands, uplands, thick vegetation and even rural communities.
Jacksonville is an amazing city to catch fish in. There are a number of charters that will take non-boat owning residents and visitors out for a tour to catch redfish, trout, mangrove snapper and so much more. If you want to fish by kayak or from shore, The Little Jetties is the perfect spot, with a fishing pier and rocks on the shoreline.
Whether you want to play baseball or watch it, Jacksonville is the city where you can catch a great game of American’s national sport. The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are the team most people in Jax cheer for and they also have some great events like Free Family Movie Night at the Baseball Grounds.

Everyone from kids to seniors can partake in this relaxing, yet challenging recreational activity. If you need lessons, Jacksonville Surf and Paddle is a great spot to take a class or do a tour as well as rent a paddleboard.
