Two sides to every situation
There’s two sides to every situation and the ongoing saga over parking spaces at the Jacksonville Landing seems to be no exception.
The latest offer from the council over the Landing situation seems to be the end of the story for the council while it’s only the beginning of the story for Toney Sleiman and his lawyers. The council sees the offer of 375 parking spaces as their final offer while Mr Sleiman sees it as a positive foot in the negotiating door. Sleiman has a 50 year lease on the Jacksonville Landing so he sees the council’s latest offer as a mere starting point on the way to his larger grander plans for the area.
It seems this dispute isn’t over by a long straw, despite the best wishes of the council.
